The first word that comes to mind when we see this Honda CB750 is elegance. With the #BOLT35, we aimed to blend the natural elegance of this model with the rebellious edge that defines Bolt Motor Company.
There’s no doubt that the Honda CB750 is one of our favorite models when it comes to customizing a classic bike. Whenever there’s an opportunity to get our hands on one, we encourage our clients to go for this iconic Honda — the final results speak for themselves.
In this case, the owner of the #BOLT35 was looking for a bike that was elegant and commanding, yet agile and practical enough for everyday use. With that in mind, the Bolt Motor Company team focused on creating smooth lines that bring cohesion and flow between key elements like the tank, seat, and subframe. That level of integration required a hand-built subframe — a challenge we were more than ready to take on.
One of the standout aspects of this custom Honda CB750 is the work done on the front end. We opted for a Renthal dirt-style handlebar to offer a more comfortable and upright riding position.
The headlight is another highlight — a sleek piece that combines a high-end LED light with a custom 3D-printed bracket designed by our in-house team. To boost usability, we went all-in on smart features: lights, indicators, and controls are all fully automated.
The fuel tank, although it may look minimal and clean at first glance, required hours of meticulous work. Achieving a continuous, seamless line between the tank and surrounding elements is no small feat — but the result is truly striking. For this build, we used a tank from a Honda CB750 Four K2.
The aged leather seat is the final touch. A curious detail: while it might look like delicate vintage leather, it’s been treated to resist rain — so no worries if you get caught in bad weather.
As we always say, the aesthetics might turn heads, but the real success of a custom bike lies under the surface. That’s why we gave the engine a full overhaul and performance upgrade. We used SuperTrapp exhausts, improved the filters, boosted the power output, reworked the carburetion, and fine-tuned the mechanical side — all to make those 750 cc perform better than ever.
We also fully updated the electrical system with the latest tech on the market.
We don’t like to play favorites — but the #BOLT35 would definitely make the top of the list. We truly hope more Honda CB750s make their way into our workshop.
