It had been a while since we showed you what’s been brewing inside the Bolt Motor Company workshop, café racer specialists based in Valencia. But trust us — we’ve been keeping quiet for good reason. We’ve been elbow-deep in a build we’re truly passionate about: this stunning BMW R100RS custom.

Every bike that rolls into our garage sparks something special, but with this one, the connection was instant. And if we had to explain why this project hit different, we’d say it’s down to two things:
we love this model, and the owner gave us total creative freedom.

We always say that the secret to building the perfect café racer is simple:
make it look exactly like the bike you’ve always dreamed of.
And in this case, the BMW R100RS became the café racer of our dreams.
Let’s be honest — who wouldn’t want to ride a beast like this?

Looking at the before and after, it’s hard to believe this is the same bike.
But from the moment we laid eyes on it, we already saw what it could become.
It ticks every single box of what a real café racer should be:
one-of-a-kind, raw, and just rebellious enough to make hearts race.

Usually, we like to walk you through the key steps of our builds.
But this time? There’s just too much to list — too many details, too many late nights perfecting each inch.
All you need to know is: the result speaks for itself.

So if you’ve been dreaming of owning a café racer — now’s the time.
After seeing the #BOLT7, we’re pretty sure your cravings just kicked in hard.
Give us a call or shoot us an email — no pressure. Just tell us what your dream bike looks like,
and we’ll help you make it real, working within your budget and guiding you on which mods bring the biggest impact.

This BMW R100RS came back to our workshop with a clear mission:
turn heads and break the mold. And with this second version, we’ve done exactly that.
While the original #BOLT7 leaned scrambler, this new chapter pushes things even further —
we went for a radical, never-seen-before custom, something loud, bold and untamed.

The first version was a full-blown scrambler. But with Version 2,
our design team set their sights on a vintage-style tracker:
spoked wheels, wide bars, oval-track tires… the whole old-school revival.

One of the most dramatic changes? The double-height subframe,
crafted to deliver that unmistakable tracker silhouette we were chasing.

But we didn’t just play with looks.
Under the surface, we tuned the hell out of the engine to squeeze more from those 1000cc.
The ride now feels every bit as wild as it looks.
We also reworked the entire electrical system to make sure everything runs like a dream.

We didn’t stop there — the braking system got a major upgrade, with a new master cylinder and more powerful calipers.
And the re-tuned suspension guarantees comfort and full control on the road.

At Bolt Motor Company, we live for this kind of creative freedom — when the brief is: go as far as you want.
We loved having this machine back in the shop.
As for which version we’d choose? For us, Version 2 wins, hands down.
But what about you?
