BMW R1100S //
#BOLT14

Today we’re talking about the custom build of a BMW R1100S — a project that stands out from the latest bikes that have rolled out of the Bolt Motor Company garage.
This #BOLT14 took the base bike in a new direction, with several parts replaced, modified, or fully restored.
It’s a special machine because it doesn’t stick to a single style.
In reality, the #BOLT14 is a hybrid between a café racer and a desert bike.
One of the first things that grabs your attention is the paint job.
For this project, we chose two colors: deep navy and sky blue.
The navy is a nod to the original Maserati racing livery from the 1970s, and the sky blue is inspired by the classic Lotus race cars.
Another standout element of this BMW R1100S is the tail section, which was fully designed and manufactured in 3D.
Thanks to 3D modeling, we were able to perfectly balance the bike’s geometry and weight, creating visual harmony between the tank and the tail.
As for the fuel tank, it had to be heavily modified to match both the client’s vision and the technical requirements of the build.
The exhaust? A 100% handcrafted piece of art.
What you don’t see — but absolutely feel — is the complete overhaul of the bike’s electronics, including the relocation of the ECU.
This was essential to achieve the clean café racer front end we had envisioned for the #BOLT14.
