Although it’s not the first time we’ve customized a BMW R100RS, the #BOLT9 stands in a league of its own.
Without a doubt, this is the build we’ve invested the most hours into — transforming the tired classic on the left into the jaw-dropping machine you see on the right.
This project goes far beyond a standard café racer conversion — what we’ve built here is a prototype that leaves everyone speechless when they see it in person.
And trust us: if it looks wild in photos, it’s even more breathtaking up close.
It’s hard to summarize the countless hours of work behind this bike, but everyone agrees on one thing:
the standout features of this custom BMW R100RS are the inverted Yamaha R1 front forks, radial brake caliper, custom front disc, and rear shocks.
Each component was either custom-made or adapted specifically for this build — and the result speaks for itself.
Another highlight is the hand-reduced subframe, a detail that brings the whole build together.
It’s this mix of classic soul and modern engineering that defines the #BOLT9.
