Honda cb250 //
#BOLT06

A new cafe racer rolls out of the Bolt Motor Company garage. Two months ago, this Honda CB 250 arrived at the shop — and after seeing the final result, we can say without a doubt that this is the most radical transformation we’ve ever done at Bolt.
The photos speak for themselves — there’s barely anything left of the original model.
This Honda CB 250 had been sitting abandoned for years in the corner of a factory warehouse, but when its owner discovered Bolt Motor Company, a lightbulb went off.
Why let an old bike take up space when it could become a cafe racer?
Still, not even he imagined it would look like this. Who would guess this is a Honda CB 250 from 1992?
Customizing this cafe racer has been an absolute pleasure, because it’s the perfect example of what these bikes are capable of becoming. The #BOLT6 underwent a complete personalization process.
It’s hard to sum up all the work behind this project in just a few lines, but the before-and-after images tell the story better than words. Key component swaps — like the wheels, rims and fuel tank — made all the difference. Not to mention the tail section, replaced with a true cafe racer-style rear cowl.
Another highlight of this build was the bike’s owner. He only had one clear wish: lots of chrome. He left the rest up to us — and there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing the client’s face the first time they lay eyes on their transformed bike.
If you’re dreaming of building your own cafe racer, Bolt Motor Company is here to help. We’re a custom workshop specialized in cafe racers based in Valencia, and we’re always excited to hear from fellow motorcycle lovers with big ideas.
