#BOLT57 – BMW R100

A new top leveltransformation comes out of the Bolt Motor Company workshop. When we talk about top level we refer to a project that takes behind more than 250 hours of work, where the best materials and attention to detail are used to the maximum.

This time the bike that has passed through our hands is a BMW R100 Boxer Classic, one of the best base bikes that can be chosen when making a customization because it has a very durable mechanics and aesthetics gives a lot of play.

With the #BOLT57 the level of demand has been extremely high because its owner is a great lover of custom bikes as well as having great knowledge in mechanics.

The first phase of work on any custom bike is to talk to the customer and get to know their needs and tastes. And once we are clear about what he wants, we get going.

Front of this BMW R100

The front end is composed of bottles, discs and calipers from a Ducati Panigale 1198 by Marzzochi, one of the most spectacular front ends on the market. When we say that it is one of the best options to place in the front we do not only say it for its aesthetics, but because it then gives an unmatched performance.

To make things even better and to ensure a spectacular result, we have mounted some CNC made seat posts that we designed ourselves so that the coupling is total. On this occasion we have installed some extra wide ones because that is what a project like this demanded.

In addition, high-performance Goodridge metal hoses and lightened wheel axles manufactured by our team have been installed.

Taking into account that we were looking for the highest quality in materials and finishes, we have placed Renthal scrambler handlebars, Motogadget grips, Highsider mirrors and Brembo gold brake pump.

To ensure that the bike would also dazzle when viewed from the front, we opted for anLED headlightwith bracket and face shield designed and 3D printed in our facilities.

Central part

The strong point is found in the fenders and the fog lamp that we have mounted, paying tribute to those BMWs used by the German army.

The tank is one of the most striking to date. Moreover, although yellow is one of the corporate colors, I think it is the first time we painted the entire tank in this color. Following the client ‘s guidelines, we added our logo in a silver color, achieving a very powerful result. As always, a work of Angel, from Airbrush Customs.

As for the engine, it has been completely restored. For this, we have used a racing carburetion kit, changed the cylinder heads and installed a 16-map electronic ignition.

The seat, made by Tapizados Llop, is two-seater with saddle effect. The suede finish gives a plus of elegance to the bike.
