BMW R45 //
#BOLT48

Today we bring you a very special bike. When we started working on this BMW R45, we had two clear goals: it had to be a super light scrambler and it had to give off serious surfer vibes. We wanted a bike that was as low and agile as possible, without losing the classic BMW lines.
At the front, we used the front end from a BMW R65, with oversized brake discs, Brembo calipers, Goodridge brake lines, and refined forks tuned for the best performance at a lower ride height.
Here we strayed a bit from the traditional scrambler aesthetic, as the client wanted a dirt track-style handlebar — slightly wider than what you’d usually see on scramblers. The result? A more relaxed, laid-back look, perfectly in tune with the owner’s taste.
The headlight housing was designed and 3D-printed by our in-house design team and includes a latest-generation LED headlight. The electrical system is completely new, allowing us to integrate upgraded controls and modern electronics.
Moving to the center of the bike, we had to modify the frame to reposition the electronic components. The engine was fully rebuilt, including new cylinders and heads, and we added a 16-map programmable electronic ignition for flawless performance. The carburetors were also re-tuned.

The tank paintwork strikes the perfect balance between simplicity and boldness. While the tank itself is clean and unadorned, the vibrant green color paired with the blue emblem instantly grabs your attention.
At the rear, you’ll find a custom bi-posto subframe with low-mounted bobber-style exhausts. The seat is short but two-seater, made from premium leather with a rain-resistant treatment.
The #BOLT48 is a BMW R45 that’s agile, practical, and a joy to ride — the perfect bike for daily use.
We hope you enjoy the photos!
